Product Details
Dry brushing is an ancient technique that has been used for centuries to promote good health and wellness. It is a simple, yet effective method of exfoliating the skin, improving circulation, and stimulating the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is responsible for removing toxins and waste products from the body, and dry brushing is thought to aid in this process by increasing blood flow and promoting the movement of lymphatic fluids.
Our Skin Smoothing Body Brush is vegan brush and is made from bamboo and sisal. This brush is used by dry brushing the skin in upward motions before showering. It is important to start with the feet and work in a circular upward brushing motion, moving on to the thighs, calves, and buttocks. These areas are commonly found to have cellulite and require slightly more pressure when brushing. Then move to your hands and work up to the shoulders. Finally, finish with your lower back, abdomen, chest and upper chest (always away from the heart), to promote blood flow and complete the process.
Dry brushing not only helps to remove dead skin cells, but it can also help to reduce the appearance of cellulite, improve skin tone and texture, and leave the skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. It is also a great way to start your day as it can help to energize and invigorate the body.
It's important to note that dry brushing should be done gently, and with light to moderate pressure. It's also important to check with your doctor if you have any concerns before starting. Additionally, it's always good to use a dry brush that is in good condition and clean it regularly to prevent bacteria growth.
Incorporating dry brushing into your daily routine can provide a wide range of benefits for both the body and the skin. It is an easy, yet effective way to promote good health and vitality, and achieve a polished and glowing skin.

Start by dry brushing your feet and legs, using gentle circular motions and working your way up the body.
Move on to your thighs and calves, spending more time on the backs of your upper thighs and applying slightly more pressure on this area and the buttocks.
Brush your hands and arms, starting from the fingers and working up to the shoulders.
Finish with your lower back, abdomen, chest and upper chest, always brushing towards the heart.
Once you have finished dry brushing, take a shower or bath to rinse off any dead skin cells that have been removed.
